Cox Automotive has announced the passing of James Davis at the weekend.

Well-known and very well-liked within the industry, Davis was a highly respected voice for his CV knowledge and enthusiasm, and worked in the automotive industry since joining Central Motor Auctions in the early 1990s. He had been with Manheim and parent company Cox Automotive since 2004, most recently as customer insight director for CV.

Outside of his work, he had a passion for his 1959 MGA sportscar, which he used to raise significant sums for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Company Car Today would like to add to the many voices paying tribute to James, who regularly and very willingly contributed his extensive knowledge to Company Van Today, and send best wishes to his family, friends and colleagues.
