Fiat 500 - At a glance car review
The king of retro design success, the cutesy 500 has achieved huge sales primarily off the back of its stylish looks. The range is made up of three-door hatchback and a convertible model that features a canvas roof that slides back like a large sunroof, the 500 had a 2015 revision that improved interior quality and tech and slightly tweaked the styling.
Unmistakably stylish looks, good range of efficient petrol engines
Ride quality and some interior quality aren’t the best
Citroen C1, Peugeot 108, Hyundai i10, VW Up
Ford Ka+, Seat Mii, Kia Picanto
One of the most characterful and recognizable cars on sale, increased volumes and recognition haven’t diminished the 500’s charm. It’s not the most refined or comfortable car for long distances, but brings a smile like very little else.
