New senior fleet figures at Nissan and Seat

Nissan and Seat have made new senior management appointments to their fleet sales teams.

Nissan has named Iker Lazzari fleet sales director, with responsibility for heading up the manufacturer’s corporate sales.

Iker Lazzari, Nissan fleet sales director, 2017He joins from Volkswagen Financial Services, where he was head of sales and marketing, and focussed on fleet marketing, contract hire and leasing, tactical planning and corporate financial services.

“I’m delighted to be joining Nissan at such an exciting time for the brand in the UK,” said Lazzari, who has 18 years’ experience in the automotive industry.

“With a great range of petrol and diesel models across all sectors, plus an early lead in electric vehicles, Nissan is perfectly placed to embrace the changes that are taking place across the automotive sector, and the fleet market in particular.”

Meanwhile, Seat has announced Justin Costello as its new national fleet sales manager. Formerly contract hire and leasing manager, he will lead a team of seven area fleet managers in his new role and report to head of fleet and business sales, Peter McDonald.

He has previously worked for Manheim, ALD Automotive and Auxillis – and worked in pricing and procurement roles in the Volkswagen Group.

“With the Leon still at the top of its game, the Ateca receiving acclaim from all quarters and the new generation Ibiza just around the corner, SEAT is extremely well positioned to continue to grow with both our existing fleet partners and by attracting new customers to the brand,”
