Seat announces biggest-ever fleet contract
Seat has agreed a new contract with Morrison Data Services that will see it deliver 700 Ibiza FR models in what is its biggest ever single-contract deal.
The agreement builds on an existing relationship with the cars replacing 500 outgoing Seats on the fleet of the data division of infrastructure firm M Group.
“Seat provided us with a high-quality vehicle with a good specification and safety standard at a very competitive total cost of ownership,” said Jeremy Harrison Executive Director for M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions. “Seat has also done an excellent job in supporting us post sale with the nationwide delivery of these vehicles to our meter readers through a particularly challenging time.’

Ford has added a fourth powertrain option to its Kuga SUV line-up, with the full hybrid model joining petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid, although the latter is currently on pause pending a recall and battery replacement programme.
The 190hp full hybrid Kuga combines 2.5-litre petrol engine and 1.1kWh battery for a 130g/km emissions figure, and is capable of running for what Ford described as “short periods” on electric only.
The new model is priced from £33,600 and available in ST Line Edition, ST Line X Edition and Vignale trim levels.
