Kia has revealed the first images of its forthcoming Stonic. Scant details have been revealed about the car so far, but the manufacturer has declared that it will be a B-segment crossover – i.e. a small SUV, and therefore likely to compete with models such as the Nissan Juke, the Renault Captur and the Peugeot 2008.

It will go on sale in the second half of 2017 and is said to be the most customisable Kia to date.

Consumer magazine Auto Express has named the Skoda Superb the best car to live with in its annual Driver Power survey of customer satisfaction among vehicle owners.

Now in its 16th year, the report quizzes drivers who have acquired a car during the past year on the pros and cons of living with it, and the current generation Skoda Superb trumped every other model. The Yeti SUV, soon to be replaced by the Karoq, came second and the Lexus RX third.

Epyx sees 8% increase in rental bookings

Epyx has reported an 8% increase on its short-term rental platform since the beginning of 2017, much of which has been driven by new signings.

“Over the last couple of years, we have put a lot of effort into upgrading the capabilities of the platform, including enhancing the online booking capabilities for customers, to drive higher rental numbers. As a result, we have seen growth in business for existing suppliers and have attracted many new ones,” said Epyx commercial director, Tim Meadows.

“So far this year, we have introduced five new revisions to 1link Hire Network, which is much higher than in any previous year.

“We are responding much more quickly to changing customer needs and ideas, which simply means the platform gets used more.”
