Mercedes launches flagship S-Class Coupe and Cabriolet variants
Mercedes has revealed a pair of luxury spinoffs from the S-Class saloon. The Cabriolet and Coupe are, as the names suggest, open-top and fastback versions of the existing model.
Both versions come in high-performance AMG S63 and AMG S65 guise, both with 4.0-litre V8 engines and the latter also as a 6.0-litre V12. In both the Coupe and the cabriolet, the 612hp AMG 65 is capable of 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds.
The manufacturer did not confirm UK prices for the new models.
