Gerry Keaney BVRLA chief executiveThe association’s Quarterly Leasing Survey found plug-in hybrid and hybrid vehicles overtook diesel to take a combined 36% share of new cars registered through leasing companies in Q3 of 2020 as average emissions dropped by 2g/km to 105g/km, around 8% lower than the new car average.

The leasing market shrank by 6% year-on-year, with business fleet vehicles dropping by 8.7%.
