Nexus Vehicle Rental has been named as a supplier on the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) vehicle hire framework, allowing it to serve public-sector customers.
The firm said it would focus on deploying its service to offer public sector clients “considerable cost-savings on their vehicle rental agreements”, adding its rental booking and management software, IRIS, automatically identifies the most cost-effective solutions for customers, saving them up to 20% a year on their total spend and allows full control and visibility of all rental expenditure.
At present, the company said it has 1,000 clients across various sectors including retail, logistics, construction and utilities, adding it also provide a time-critical solution for project-based work by delivering vehicles within two hours of a booking being made.
Nexus said it was included as one of the Crown Commercial Services’ 11 vehicle rental suppliers due to the its network of supply branches and ability to provide vehicles across all three asset categories of cars, vans and HGVs.
David Brennan, CEO at Nexus Vehicle Rental, said: “While the majority of our business customers belong to a distinct cluster of industries, our unrivalled supply chain and cost-cutting software means any organisation operating vehicles can reap tangible benefits from using our services. The investment we’ve made in developing innovative, constantly evolving rental management technology that advises customers on where their rental spend could be reduced is unique and can be particularly effective and attractive to customers in the public sector.”
