Aberdeen Council takes on Renaults
Aberdeen Council has taken on 200 Renault vans following a 12 month trial period in which it assessed its options.
The authority ordered 55 Renault Master Panel Vans, 83 Renault Master conversions, 43 Renault Trafic Panel Vans, 29 Renault Kangoo Panel Vans, three pure-electric Renault Kangoo Z.E Panel Vans and one Renault Trafic Passenger Van.
It is the first time that Aberdeen City Council has chosen Renault vehicles for its fleet and the order means Renaults account for nearly half of its commercial vehicle fleet, replacing similar vehicles from a variety of other brands.
They will be used by several different divisions, including roads, grounds, building and IT, to conduct vital works in an eight-mile radius of Aberdeen’s centre, Renault said.
