Vauxhalls added to Free2Move platform
Vauxhall vehicles are now available via PSA’s in-house leasing arm, Free2Move, following the French giant’s acquisition of the firm in 2017.
Free2Move said adding Vauxhall to its offering “marks the next step in Groupe PSA’s ‘Push to Pass’ plan” to become a large player in the leasing market.
As well as Vauxhall cars, Free2Move also provides leasing options for the company’s range of LCVs.
“The integration of the Vauxhall contract hire business into Free2Move Lease adds yet more choice for our customers,” said Free2Move Lease General Manager Mark Pickles, “Vauxhall has been a long-standing player in the UK business vehicle sector and is a great addition to the Free2Move Lease portfolio.”
Limited-edition Mazda CX-3 revealed
Mazda has unveiled a limited-edition of version of its CX-3 crossover, which is due to go on sale from 1 June.
Called the GT Sport Nav+ and limited to 500 units, it is based on the range topping Sport Nav+ model, the it is offered only with the 2.0-litre 121hp petrol matched to two-wheel drive with a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions and adds red leather seats while it also features exterior styling tweaks to set it apart from the rest of the range.a
BMW 8-series cabrio on sale now
BMW has revealed a convertible version of its 8-series coupe.
On sale now and priced from £83,295, two powertrains are offered from launch – a V8 petrol engine in the 530hp BMW M850i xDrive and a 320hp six-cylinder diesel in the BMW 840d xDrive.
The latter is the entry-level model and emits 161g/km of CO2 and returns 39.7mpg. Highlights of the 8-series cabrio includes a roof that opens and closes within 15 seconds at speeds of up to 31mph along with a myriad of technology systems.
Standard driver assistance systems includes a head-up display and the Active Guard suite, which comprises a Collision Warning and Pedestrian Warning system with City Braking function.
